What to do

No action needed for plain, boneless, well-cooked salmon. Never feed it raw and remove pin bones.

Macau note

Cooked salmon is a healthy treat. Never feed it raw: raw or undercooked salmon can carry a parasite that causes salmon poisoning disease, which can be fatal to dogs, plus bacteria. Grilled teriyaki versions carry sugar and salt.
